It’s my Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day!

There is an epidemic among pregnant women in the world.

These first time pregnant women automatically assume that,  just because they have a child in their belly during May, that it’s ok to wish themselves a Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to Me!

Uh…not so fast.

You haven’t had that baby yet.

Everyone knows it’s the child’s responsibility to put the effort into Mother’s Day, or at least the father of the child to remind them of the day.

Not the baby in utero.

So in reality, you are just wishing yourself a Happy Mother’s Day, not the baby’s “well wishes”..

…Maybe the baby isn’t ready to wish you a good job on mothering yet?

Let’s be honest.  You bought those flowers, made that brunch appointment, baked that cake, put on that special Moms Day Off pin, and got yourself a two hour spa appointment.  All while you are still preggo….

So, until you ladies have that baby out in the world, you really can’t celebrate Mother’s Day just yet!
